No Straight Roads Review

No Straight Roads Review

No Straight Roads Review is a fast-paced action-adventure game developed and written by Malaysia’s own indie-game-development-house Metronomik and released by Sold Out Ltd. The objective is for an indie rock band to battle an EDM juggernaut to free Vinyl from their thrall, with the help of an equally eclectic group of musicians and a wide array of equipment.

This fast-paced action adventure game does not skimp on quality. The music is fantastic and there is no doubt that this is a game where you will learn about new musical genres and techniques. In fact, I believe this game is so fun that it may just be one of the most fun games of the year.

I was very impressed by how this game starts – the main character has been thrown out of his apartment and is stranded in a strange town with some friends. With his friend’s help, he must go through a series of events and challenges, while trying to help his friends save Vinyl City. Throughout this story, a variety of characters show up and play roles to keep the game exciting and enjoyable.

The game starts with the main character, the bandleader, searching for a way to save his favorite vinyl record. He finds out that all he needs is a way to get to the underground caves. Along the way, he meets a crazy guy called a Mute, a weird dude and even a few other interesting characters. It turns out that they know where the caves are hidden and are willing to risk their lives in order to get their hands on them.

Once the bandleader finds the cave entrance, he sets about freeing his friends from the clutches of the EDM mogul, as well as stopping the villainous Mute. Along the way, he meets new friends and challenges, fights with crazy robots, and learns about new ways to get his group involved in the game.

Overall, this is a fantastic game that is sure to keep your attention and is one of the most engaging video games I have played since the first Metal Gear Solid game. I’m looking forward to the followup and see what else the developers have planned.
